Courses - OCR Integrated Business Technologies II

IBT II can be used as a natural progression from the CLAIT (Computer Literacy and Information Technology) qualification, as it builds on your previously developed skills.

However, as there are no specific entry requirements, it is suitable for anyone wishing to gain a Stage II qualification which tests the ability to draw together a variety of IT skills to analyse, structure and present information.

This course is designed to assess your ability to achieve specified objectives within database, spreadsheet, word processing and graphic applications, using the software to produce an integrated document.

Employment Prospects
It is generally recognised that Stage II indicates a sound understanding and competence in the subject, and is a recommendation for employment.

Course Content

  • Set up and use a database structure
  • Create and use a spreadsheet to aid problem solving
  • Use word processing facilities to produce a multi-page document
  • Produce graphical representations of numerical data
