Courses - English For Speakers Of Other Languages (ESOL)

Target
This course is for those who do not speak any English or speak a little English. It is also available and useful for those who didn't take English at school.

There are four topics covered:

Listening
Oral interaction
Reading
Writing

These topics include:

Getting information
Following instructions
Offering and asking for help
Passing on a spoken message
Giving instructions
Making and receiving phone calls
Understanding signs and notices

Reading text for general interest
Using dictionary to find and check the meaning of words
Filling in forms
Writing clear instructions
Putting written information into diagrams, tables and notes.

Duration: The course can run for up to 210 hours.
