Courses - OCR CLAIT

The (OCR) RSA courses are in two parts, one being CLAIT and the other IBT stage two.

Computer Literacy and Information Technology
CLAIT (Computer Literacy and Information Technology) covers the key skills for the beginner, as listed below.

The modules are:

WORD PROCESSING

• Entering and loading text
• Editing text
• Changing the appearance of text
• Saving and printing text, and exiting applications

DATABASES

• Creating a database structure and entering data
• Editing data
• Manipulating data
• Saving, printing and exiting

SPREADSHEETS

• Creating spreadsheet and entering data
• Editing spreadsheets
• Using spreadsheet display features

The course applications
This course is to familiarise you with areas of the programs that you may not have been aware of, covering the basic uses of these programs and taking a deeper look into the workings of them and how they can be applied.

The next step
If you find some aspects harder than others or you wish to look into one subject, we would suggest that taking personal training to gain the skills and knowledge would be a great option. Alternatively taking the IBTII or Internet Technologies course maybe of value depending on your needs.
