The internet is growing fast, in February 2000 there were over one and half billion pages available on the World Wide Web and these were growing at the rate of three million every day.
The internet gives you the opportunity to:
- Save money by shopping on-line for books, fashion, food, toys, travel, personal finance and cars.
- See and gather information on charities, government, environmental groups, education, health, online encyclopaedias and on how to get free software
- Visit entertainment sites for women, men, kids and teenagers. You can visit galleries and museums, read about writers and see photographs. There are sites for hobbies, interests, music, film, sport and all subjects. You need to come to grips with the internet. This qualification offers you that chance.
This flexible course is designed to help beginners understand the basics of the Internet.
Qualification
You may take the nationally and internationally recognised OCR (RSA) Internet
Technologies Stage 1 qualification.

- Produce simple Websites
Fees - £177 for up to 30 hours of flexible training to achieve the OCR (RSA) Internet Technologies Stage 1. From £180 for up to 9 hours of one-to-one tuition, without a qualification.
